What types of rings do we resize?
We resize all types of rings: wedding bands, signet rings, solitaires, engagement rings, antique and vintage rings, rings with stones (diamonds & other precious stones) and without stones. We also resize full-circle diamond wedding bands. We perform resizing on gold jewelry (yellow/white/rose gold) 21 carat, 18 carat, and 14 carat.
RIGHT-SIZING IMPLEMENTATION
We use traditional techniques for resizing. To enlarge a ring, we add a piece of 18-carat gold, thus ensuring that the jewel retains all its solidity. Resizing does not in any way weaken the condition or value of the ring.
Rhodium plating is systematically carried out on white gold rings.*

Each resizing is unique. The cost varies depending on the ring: it is not the same for a simple wedding band without stones as for a solitaire ring set with diamonds. Therefore, we need to examine the ring to provide a quote, or at least have you send us photos by email.
How long does it take to resize a ring?
The time required for resizing depends on the complexity of the ring. On average, resizing can be done in under 24 hours for the simplest models, and up to 72 hours for the most complex ones.
Does resizing weaken the ring?
No, resizing does not weaken the ring in any way. In rare cases, we will inform you.
Is resizing included when buying a ring?
When you buy a ring from Fremont, resizing is free!
Is there a risk in resizing a ring multiple times?
Even if your ring has already been resized, this is not a problem for us.
Is it possible to resize my ring by 10 sizes, up or down?
Yes, there is no specific limit on sizing. Our workshop can adjust your ring by the number of sizes required for optimal comfort and fit.
Can resizing alter the design or shape of the ring?
Resizing does not alter the design or shape of the ring. In rare cases, we will inform you if it does.
Does resizing affect the value of the ring?
No, resizing a ring does not affect its value in any way.
Can I pay for the resizing with gold?
Yes, all our repairs can be paid for with gold, whether it is scrap gold or in other forms.
Do I need to make an appointment for a resizing?
No, you can come without an appointment from Monday to Friday, from 10 am to 6:30 pm.
